Managing Director

Edwin Ng is the Managing Director of Sanford Rose Associates® – Singapore and Managing Partner, Shanghai and has more than 21 years of executive search experience and 20 years of commercial experience where he worked in several multinational companies and  financial institution. Prior to Sanford Rose Associates, he led the consumer practice of Morgan and Banks (now Hudsons) and has also worked in Deloitte and Touche HR Consultants Pte Ltd as a Manager. He has worked in the medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcares services, consumer products and services, a wide spectrum of the industrial sector, Infocom and Communication technologies and a full spectrum of functional areas mainly in leadership roles.

Edwin has accumulated a wealth of experience in helping clients from MNCs and Government-Linked Companies to spot senior talents and mid-level managers for strategic leadership roles across APAC region. He began his career in the Pharmaceuticals and medical devices industries in Johnson and Johnson and a large medical devices distributor. He has also worked in American Express, Travel Related Services focusing on the Financial Services Sector.

Edwin earned a Masters of Business Administrations from the University of HULL, U.K.

TC Looi is the Director of Sanford Rose Associates – Singapore; an executive search firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA. TC graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), Honours degree at the University of Malaya and holds a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. TC has more than 25 years of regional corporate experience in the materials industry ranging from General Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Commercial Excellence and Technical Service.

Prior to joining Sanford Rose Associates, TC was with several multinational corporations namely Rhodia, Honeywell and Ferro and held senior management positions in the respective corporations involved.  He was also entrusted with corporate responsibility as Chairman and board member of several legal entities and joint ventures. With his vast knowledge and extensive network in the materials industry and a deep appreciation of the business cultures in the Asia Pacific region, TC will be able to provide professional services and advice to the human capital needs of our clients at Sanford Rose Associates in the industrial sector throughout the region.

Benny Wong
Director for Information and Communications Technology

Benny is a Director at Sanford Rose Associates – Singapore and China; an executive search firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA. He looks after the ICT area after having spent his entire career in the field of IT. Benny holds an Honours degree in Economics (management studies) from the University of London. Benny has close to 30 years of experience in the IT industry ranging from Sales, Marketing, Channels/Alliance management, Business/Industry Development and Global Accounts management in Asia Pacific and Japan. Benny also has background in Applications development, Systems Analysis and Project management in his earlier years.

Prior to Sanford Rose Associates, Benny worked for technology companies like HP, Sun Microsystems, Tandem Computers, Cognos Far East and several other companies that sells ERP solutions. He is familiar with the entire suite of enterprise solutions that covers infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, Cloud etc), software (applications, development tools, middleware, DBMS, platforms, BI, Big data, Analytics etc), telecommunications, consulting/integration/implementation services and outsourcing. He is also familiar with all the applications like ERP, SCM, CAD, MES, CIM and RFID.

With all these experiences in the vendor and client areas, Benny has a deep understanding of both their needs and he will be able to provide professional services and advice on the human capital needs of our clients in the ICT sector in APJ.
